WE ARE THE DREAM TEAM
OUT NOW
‘ Be ready, respectful and be safe
See it light up every face
Friendships grow with love and care
We share our smiles everywhere ’
I had the privilege of writing an original song with the amazing pupils (and some teachers) at Barassie Primary School Ayrshire earlier on this year.
The result is the track ‘We are The Dream Team’ which is available now for download on all major platforms.
It was wonderful to have the pupils’ creative ideas and the school’s values to draw on for inspiration.
The Head Teacher Mrs Fleming was so encouraging about the whole project right from the start.
The pupils decided to call themselves ‘Barassie United’. This is the first time we actually recorded every class in the whole school… it was quite a day!! Awesome!
After we got all the main recording done we did a slowed down beautiful live acoustic version which is also available for download.
My friend and Maestro Jamie Clark came in and recorded the song at the school then added more instruments in the studio.
We hope you love the song, download and share it, both Studio and live acoustic versions.
It was a wonderful experience and hope I get to work with them again.
